EUROBIKE 2010: Mammoth trade show now easier to manage thanks to smartphone tech

Eurobike launches iPhone app

Eurobike has created an iPhone app for trade and consumer visitors. The Eurobike website has also been optimised for access from smartphones.

The iPhone app is available in German and English, with easy switching between te two languages. English is the default language, a recognition of the international appeal of the Friedrichshafen show, which starts tomorrow and last until Friday (with a consumer day in Saturday).

The app has an index of exhibitors, which can be clicked to create a ‘must visit’ list. There’s also a show map, although this has no GPS features.

All exhibitors are listed with full contact details, including websites.

There’s also a diary function but no ability for this to be updated at the show unless a new version is placed in the app store.

Of more use is the travel planner, including info on the free shuttles between the show, hotels and travel access points.
