Tom Nordström takes the top job

Finland’s Herrmans brings in new CEO

Tom Nordström has become CEO of both Herrmans and Nordic Lights, divisions of Herrmans OY AB.

Since 2013, Nordström has been a member of the Board of Herrmans OY AB. He is a former CEO of LKI Käldman Ltd, a supplier of automation solutions for sheet metal processing, and former exec vice president of KWH Mirka.

Former CEO Reijo Tiuraniemi resigned his position after 12 years to take a period of sabbatical leave. He will take on the role as senior advisor to the Board.

New CEO Nordström said: "I am thrilled and honored to get the opportunity to lead HERRMANS OY AB. As a non-executive director since 2013, I know the values of the company well and that we have a highly skilled and engaged personnel. The company is well established internationally in both of its business areas, components for bicycles and Heavy Duty work lights. We have set up operations in new markets and also have many new and innovative products in the pipe-line, which together gives us a good platform for future growth."

Herrmans OY AB designs and manufactures bicycle components under the trademark Herrmans and work lights for the Heavy Duty industry under the trademark Nordic Lights.
