Hope's integrated cassette coming to Cycle Show

Head over to stand C8 at Earls Court next month for more on the firm's lightweight latest
Publish date:

UK manufacturer Hope is bringing its brand new integrated cassette to Cycle Show, following its Eurobike debut at the start of the month.

Expected to cost £150, the cassette has been developed to allow a wider range of gearing to be used, by removing the need for a lockring to hold the cassette onto the rotor body. The rotor body and bigger cogs are machined from a single piece of aluminium, with the smaller lower cogs made from steel with a nitride coating.

While weights are still to be confirmed, Hope says the new cassette is around 20g lighter than a XX cassette on a Pro 2 hub.

Hope's latest fits the Pro 2 and Pro 3 hubs. You can read more about the cassette – and see more pics – here.

The BikeBiz Award 2010 Finalist will be at stand C8 at Cycle Show 2010, which runs from October 7th to 10th at Earls Court.
