A fresh batch of previews for Madison's house show in a few weeks

iceBike* 2013: Madison clothing, Cervelo, SiS and Saracen’s Kili Flyer

Madison has revealed more details of what to expect at the forthcoming iceBike* show, set in Milton Keynes and taking place March 5th to 7th.

*Missed the last updates? You can find them in the latest edition of BikeBiz magazine (pages six, 16 and 17) and here (for GoPro, women’s Giro range, Garmin Edge 810 and Genesis) and here (for Mule Bar, Chariot, Genesis Equlibrium 853 and Thule) and here (for Finish Line, GoPole, Profile Design and Saracen).

January saw the London Bike Show and the launch of the Madison Genesis Road team, which of course also showcased Madison Clothing’s team kit. The apparel will be at iceBike* along with the original sketches, concept drawings and samples. The designers behind them will be on hand to talk about how the items were developed too.

Cervélo’s 2013 models will be also be making their appearance at iceBike* – the first UK trade show to see the full Cervélo line-up. iceBike* 2013 will also see the first UK trade presentation of the triathlon specific super-bike – the Cervélo P5 SIX – which includes an exclusive Magura RT8 hydraulic brake set and 3T Aduro Aerobar. As you’d expect, the new models continue to maximise aerodynamics, providing lightweight, stiff rides throughout the range.

SiS is to reveal new flavour additions for its most popular products. The brand, the designer of the world’s first isotonic energy gel, has created an Apple and Lemon & Lime for the Isotonic Gel range, while Go Hydro (20 tablet tubes) will now feature Blackcurrant and Mango/Pineapple. Both the existing Berry and Lemon Go Hydro flavours will now also be available in the smaller tubes of ten at a special deal price.

Saracen’s new Saracen Kili Flyer will also feature at iceBike*. Back In 1985, Nicholas Crane rode up Mount Kilimanjaro on his Saracen, since which the bike has transformed, but the name and colours remain the same. The Kili Flyer is the latest guise of the bike – a 130mm, 650b full suss bike. Featuring hydro-formed alloy tubing and the classic Kili colours, this hard-core trail bike is ready for pretty much whatever you can throw at it, we’re told, with quick handing and friendly geometry.
