It's now three weeks until iceBike* kicks off at Arena: MK

iceBike* 2015 preview: Lazer, Elite, LifeBEAM & Ogio

iceBike* 2015 is running in just a few weeks time at Arena: MK. Here’s another preview of some of the products appearing from February 24th to 26th at the show.

And why not read our first iceBike* preview (Shimano, Garmin, Park Tool & Lazer) and our second (Compressport, Bliss, Continental and Shimano again) online.

Lazer has no fewer than nine new additions in its 2015 helmet range, all of which will be at iceBike*. The new Wasp Air is a shorter version of the Wasp helmet designed to meet the needs of triathlon, track and TT riders. Everything about the helmet is shaped around the rider’s position and finding the maximum aerodynamic gains while still allowing versatile use.

The Z1 FAST helmet has an integrated and non-removable cover that is attached to the EPS liner. Because of the one piece shell, it not only has a better distribution of impact forces, it also creates a surface that glides through the air much easier for supreme aerodynamic performance.

Gianluigi Ingargiola, the inventor of the Tri-Box will be attending iceBike* and will be at the Elite stand to talk about his unique and innovative new product. The Tri-Box is a brand new fold-out triathlon or duathlon organiser to store all your kit and reduce time in transition. Multiple designated compartments and carriers for your wetsuit, bottles and helmet that fold up into a self-contained backpack make it easy to carry on a bike. It even includes a fold-out shoe organiser and changing mat, so no more cold, wet feet when you start your run or ride.

LifeBEAM, a leader in bio-sensing wearable technology will make its iceBike* debut this year after being recently added to the Madison brand portfolio. LifeBEAM integrates a lightweight pulse rate monitor with athlete-friendly headwear alleviating the need to wear uncomfortable chest straps, often so unpopular with athletes. With the Cap (£79.99) and Visor (£79.99) on display, see this new innovation for yourself and experience this brand at the forefront of wearable tech.

Bigger isn’t always better and the 2X Endurance bag delivers many of the features found in the larger members of the Endurance range. A crush resistant armoured pocket keeps your GPS watch, smart device and valuables safe when cramming the bag into a locker. The large main compartment accommodates clothing with ease and keeps it protected by high tensile endurance fabrics. A heavily ventilated shoe compartment means that after even the hardest session you won’t contaminate the rest of the bag (38 litres). See it and more from Ogio at iceBike* this year.
