London Bike Show ticket sales 20% ahead of previous two editions

The London Bike Show and Triathlon Show: London has announced that ticket sales are up 20% versus the same period in 2018 and 2017.

Set to take place slightly later this year, the show will take up residence at London’s ExCel from 29th to 31st March.

Alongside the exhibits, a plethora of cycling and triathlon experts will grace the show’s stages for audience Q&As, live interviews and demonstrations. A finalised list of guest speakers will also be announced ahead of the show.

Frazer Clifford, managing director of Newtimber Media, said: “We’re investing heavily in our marketing campaign this year and it’s already paying off. Ticket sales are 20% up on the same period for 2018 and 2017, with the majority of the campaign still to launch. For the first time since the London Bike Show launched in 2011, we’re running a campaign on bus rears in London, specifically targeted at commuter cyclists on the Superhighways.

“Online visitors will see our ads across Facebook, Instagram, Google and Youtube. We’re also working closely with our exhibitors and a number of media partners, as well as advertising in the National Press to ensure that everyone who should know about the shows, does! The shows are already poised for a bumper year.”

Andy Smallwood, CEO of Ribble Cycles, said: “At Ribble, it’s important for us to allow the cycling public to get a first hand experience of our latest bikes. As a long term supporter, we’re really pleased to be attending the UK’s biggest cycling exhibition, the London Bike Show, once again.

“We’re really looking forward to meeting everyone to showcase our all-new bike range and to share our passion for cycling and it’s great to see that under the new management and a change of date, ticket sales are outperforming the previous two years.”
