500 metres of test track goodness will be on offer at January

RoadCyclingUK to host London Bike Show test track

RoadCyclingUK is to host the test track at The London Bike Show in January.

The road cycling website has joined forces with Vos Media – the show organisers – to host the 500 metre circuit which will later be used by the professionals (and industry teams) for the series of evening criterium races hosted by the IG London Nocturne team.

A selection of bikes will be available to test from exhibitors at the track.

"We’re delighted RoadCyclingUK is hosting the London Bike Show’s test track," said VOS Media Group ghow director Geraldine Reeve. "With the RCUK team offering tests of the latest bikes during the day, and the IG London Nocturne race series every evening, we’re sure the track will be one of the key attractions of the 2013 London Bike Show."

Other attractions include a training hub, bike skill displays from Martyn Ashton and the Animal Bike Tour, a Cool Wall hosting some of the most attractive two-wheeled exhibits, and the DMR Pump Track. The Jaguar Performance Theatre will host the launches of the 2013 Madison-Genesis, Team IG-Sigma Sport and Rotor Spin squads, as well as a number of experts and Q&A sessions with top British cyclists.

Exhibiting brands include Cube, Fondriest, Genesis, Pinarello, Canyon and Wilier, among many others. There’s more information on the show in BikeBiz’s preview here and in the January mag arriving early in the New Year.

The 2013 London Bike Show opens on Thursday January 17 and closes on Sunday January 20, and will be held at the ExCel Centre. The RCUK test track will be open each day and racing from the IG Nocturne series will be held each evening.
