With the growth of e-bikes in the UK and across Europe, the test track presents an opportunity to see the latest Shimano STEPS technology and test it in an appropriate environment. There will be new e-bikes on show from a variety of brands including Saracen, Ridgeback, Adventure, Ghost, Volt and more.
In addition to having bikes to test, the Shimano truck will be on hand with a team of experts, who will be able to answer any questions visitors may have about the technology. Among the new e-bikes on show will be Saracen’s first full-suspension e-bike, the E-Ariel, which will be launching at the show.
Shimano brand manager at Madison Geoff Giddings commented on the return of the track: “It is great to have the Shimano STEPS E-Bike Test Track back at iceBike*. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to show visitors just how good the Shimano STEPS system is – a lot of development has gone into it and now it really is a market-leading technology. The best way to see just how good it is, is to give it a go – you won’t be disappointed.”
International account manager Boy Oudenampsen will also be giving two 30-minute seminars about e-bikes every day at the show.
A selection of non-electric bikes will be available to ride from the brands at the show including Saracen, Genesis, Ridgeback, Ridley and Adventure.
