Stages Cycling hires Dan Kinsley

Stages Cycling has announced that it has hired industry veteran Dan Kinsley as sales director for the American market.

Kinsley will start his new role within the company at the beginning of November, and will be replacing Will Grossman, who has been promoted and will transfer to Stages Cycling’s indoor and commercial cycling business.

“Dan is the consummate sales professional,” said Bernie Doering, SVP of global sales at Stages Cycling. “I have worked with Dan in various sales management roles over the past 30 years and he is ideally suited to help Stages continue our strong IBD relationships, and support our robust product launch strategy over the next few years.”

Kinsley was most recently working in the position of eastern regional manager for Vista Outdoors’ Action Sports division, overseeing the Bell, Giro and Blackburn brands. His history in the trade includes sales management roles at Nike, Timberland and Nathan.

“I am thrilled to be joining Stages Cycling and helping the brand expand its presence in the North American market,” said Kinsley. “Stages has a well-earned reputation for developing groundbreaking technologies that enable every cyclist to improve their performance."
