Chicken Cyclekit has ramped up its mountain bike offering with fresh brand Superior.

Last year’s Core Bike saw a small selection of the entry level models to guage dealer reaction, but this year's event saw more bikes on display this year, including Shimano XT equipped carbon bikes starting at £1449. According to Chicken, the brand has caught a lot of attention with many UK dealerships already set up.

Superior has a UCI pro team specialising in cross country and cross country eliminator, ranking well throughout national and international UCI events. The team was created and coached by former World and Olympic champion Bart Brentjens. As well as having significant input into the pro team, Brentjens gives feedback to the R&D team when he and the team are riding prototype models.

The distributor added that Superior bikes offer great margin for dealers and are backed up by good warranty. Point of sale material and exclusive territories are also available.
