Sales assistants – Velorution

Sales, management and workshop roles – Rutland Cycling

Rutland Cycling is looking to recruit a full new team with positions available for store and deputy store managers, sales advisors and workshop technicians. It is looking for highly self-motivated individuals with a proven retail track record, along with a real passion for cycling. Excellent leadership and motivational skills, as well as lots of drive and energy, are key attributes. Bike mechanic/sales – Alans

Alans is looking for an enthusiastic cycle technician sales person, preferably with retail experience to join its team. Someone willing and capable of taking responsibility of the day to day activities of the workshop. Manage repairs, ordering parts, workshop admin. You will be reliable and interested in making the store a success. Brands include: Cannondale, Scott, GT and most BMX brands. Key skills: PDIs, build, repair and servicing of all types of bike, flat pack bikes for mail order, customer service and sales experience, reliable and enthusiastic, Cytech a benefit but not essential, previous cycle mechanic experience essential, computer literate. 

Assistant manager/bike fitter – Giant Twickenham

Giant is looking for a mature, well organised and highly personable individual to work in its Twickenham Giant store as assistant manager and primary bike fitter. The role is to be duty manager when the manager is off or on holiday and assist with the day to day running of the store. However, equally important will be maximising the growth of bike fitting. It has invested heavily in a state of the art Retul bike fitting system and purpose built studio to house it in. It now needs a motivated bike fitter to get the best out of the facilities. Experience of store management and bike fitting would be an advantage but it is willing to offer full training to the right individual.

Bike mechanic – Giant Store Rutland

Ideally Cytech qualified (if not, it will provide the necessary training), your mechanical knowledge will be matched by your ability to be a flexible team player who is able to deliver a first class technical service to customers through high standards and the efficient turnaround of maintenance and repairs work. You will also be called upon to sell parts and accessories at the workshop counter utilising your sales skills. The job is based at the Giant concept store at Rutland Water.
