1. Cycle mechanic

Leatherhead, Surrey-based Carbon Bike Repair is looking to take on a cycle mechanic with additional experience and skills. This will be a full-time permanent role. The primary role will be to carry out servicing, mechanical repairs, fitting new components, stripping and rebuilding bicycles. You will assist with bike inspections for insurance claims and accurately fill out inspection reports. You will be responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining the service workshop and job schedules. You will also be required to serve customers and deal with enquiries, face to face, over the phone or via email, throughout the day.

2. Manager/ assistant manager

Beics Brenin is looking for an experienced manager or assistant manager to work in its busy trail-head store at Coed y Brenin forest park in North Wales. It runs a large hire fleet of up to 70 Trek mountain bikes, a busy workshop and stocks a wide range of MTB focused clothing and accessories. The shop team is friendly and has some of the UK’s best riding on its doorstep. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with some prior experience in a customer service or retail role. They’ll also be an enthusiastic off road rider & need to learn Coed y Brenin’s trails inside out.

3. Digital sales

An exciting new position at Paligap to help develop its brand new B2B website has arisen. The company is experiencing higher than expected response and want to implement our next phase from the success we’re already seeing. It is looking for a candidate who is preferably a keen cyclist with good product knowledge to bridge the gap between our sales and web team. Assisting our sales team as well as organising targeting campaigns to our customers directly.

4. Carbon inspector

In addition to its current cycle mechanic role, Carbon Bike Repair is also searching for a bike mechanic to be trained up as a carbon inspector. This will be a full-time permanent role. The primary role will be to carry out inspections on carbon and mechanical reporting for insurance claims. The role also requires mechanical Cytec qualification. You will be responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining the service workshop and job schedules. This is a newly created role with possibilities for growth. You will also be required assist in busy times to serve customers and deal with enquiries, face to face, over the phone or via email, throughout the day. You will need to work closely with all members of staff to ensure the customer journey is efficient and meets the companies’ standards.

5. Manager/ mechanic

Are you passionate about cycling, have a proven track record working on a variety of bicycles, and enjoy working directly with your clients? Consider the information below to see if Velofix is right for you. It is important for the brand to find forward thinking individuals who possess the technical and interpersonal skills to join it in building a great company. It is looking to hire a full time manager/mechanic to operate Velofix Mobile Bike Shop. The ideal candidate is certified by the Barnett Bicycle Institute, Unified Bicycle Institute, or has equivalent training and professional experience. A clean driving record is a must.
