1. Hire supervisor
Pedalabikeaway is a cycle centre in the Forest of Dean. It is recruiting a new hire supervisor, a key player in the team. The shop is looking for someone who will create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all of its bike hire customers, and for someone who can grow and develop with the role. Key to this role is attention to detail, high standards of customer service, processing of a huge hire fleet, plus supervising staff engagement and standards. The successful individual will need to be tuned in to customer needs and able to work independently, using their initiative on a daily basis to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

2. Sales person
Spokes of Bagshot, the multi-award winning Surrey based retailer is looking for an exceptional sales person to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have preferably had relevant, direct industry experience, although Spokes will consider applicants from other sales backgrounds providing you have a passion for cycling. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a charismatic personality and self motivated attitude. The business is formed around inter-personal rapport with customers and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and upholding our exceptional customer service levels.

3. Service centre technician
As part of its drive to meet customer expectations and demands, Raleigh is seeking to employ additional service centre technicians at its Eastwood HQ. The main duties of the role consist of building consumers’ bikes and completing pre-delivery inspections, assessing and repairing returned bikes and assisting with warranty claims by ensuring customers’ bikes are returned in a safe and ride-able state. The key tasks will involve carrying out the re-assembly, pre-delivery inspection and repackaging of product as required, receiving, assessing and repairing bikes returned by customers, and physically assessing bike warranty claims from customers.                                For a full description and how to apply, click here.

4. Part-time sales assistant
Giant Newport Pagnell is offering positions to be part of a dynamic team in one of the biggest Giant brand stores in the UK, it is seeking a part-time sales assistant. The applicant will have to have a positive attitude and be excellent in customer service. The successful candidate will have a willingness to develop their skills and be keen to learn more about cycling, training will be provided. 5. Project mechanic
Life Cycle UK is recruiting for the position of project mechanic for its successful Derby City operations and funded by Derby City Council. It is looking for an excellent bicycle mechanic, with experience of working on a wide range of bikes, particularly older bikes. You will have good management skills and be able to work well with others, teach and share skills with a wide range of people from other mechanics to volunteers and the general public. You will also regularly liaise with and visit all prisons we work with and meet the prisoners who work for the shop there. You will able to organise and maintain a well-equipped workshop and have a very good understanding of health and safety issues.
