Company behind Specialized’s Birmingham Concept Store to be liquidated

The company behind the Specialized Concept Store in Birmingham entered a creditors voluntary liquidation on 5th January, filings reveal. Each concept store is owned by a different limited company, with the Birmingham store being operated by Ananquest, registered in Nottingham.

The Fort Dunlop store’s website says the shop is "closed for refurbishment." It stocked more than 350 Specialized bicycles.

The winding-up is being led by Ball Emily of Leicester, with all contact with Ananquest now going through the insolvency firm FRP Advisory.
