Manufacturer recognised by worldwide award for outstanding design

Cube Reaction GTC SL wins red dot design Award

Cube Bikes’ Reaction GTC SL has won a Red Dot design award – a worldwide recognition of quality design.

"The CUBE Reaction GTC SL is stuffed with technology without looking overloaded," explains product designer Gregor Dauth, member of the Cube Innovation Center.

"The massive cross sections of the carbon frame look delicate emphasized through the use of dynamic, gently curved lines. Distinctive contour Lines make forces evident and visible."

The red dot award has developed since the start in 1955 into one of the world’s leading and most prestigious design competitions. Designers and companies from 57 countries sent in 4.252 products for the Red Dot award: product design. All products that were awarded with the Red Dot, had to convince an international expert jury.

In Essen, Germany – the European Capital of Culture 2010 – the Cube Reaction GTC SL will be shown for four weeks in a special exhibition in the Red Dot Design Museum at Zeche Zollverein.
