Just six weeks after the '08 show ends, available space is looking thin for next year

Cycle ’09 floor space 87 per cent sold

Just six weeks since the doors of Cycle ’08 closed, next years’ instalment appears to be selling well ahead of schedule with 87 per cent of the total exhibitor floor space occupied in 2008 now booked up.

Event Director Andrew Brabzon told BikeBiz: "We now have our first floor plan drawn, and bookings for space that so far total 87 per cent of total exhibitor floor space occupied in 2008, so we have been extremely busy in the six weeks after the show. If new exhibitors are wishing to exhibit at Cycle 2009, especially those looking to take larger spaces, I would urge them to contact us now on 020 7288 6443."

A couple more interesting stats about the 2008 show are:

Total visitor numbers (ABC audit pending) was 20,286.

Total trade was up 45 per cent on 2007, with 67 per cent of trade registrations converting into visitors.

Total consumer pre-bookings were up 20 per cent on 2007.
