Cycle Republic acts as official mechanical partner for Velo Birmingham

Velo Birmingham has announced that bicycle retailer Cycle Republic will act as the official mechanical partner of the inaugural 100-mile closed-road event, which takes place on September 24th.

As the official mechanical partner, Cycle Republic will offer mechanical assistance to the 15,000 riders taking part in the event.

In addition to offers and discounts for participants, the brand will also provide bike maintenance tips and aid with any difficulties on the day. 

Managing director of Cycle Republic Peter Kimberley said: “We are excited to come on board and support this fantastic event, providing mechanical support and enhancing the experience for riders. Our mechanics have cycling in their DNA, and the event’s premium quality and attention to detail matches the level of service and expertise provided to Cycle Republic customers.”

Executive chairman of organisers CSM Sport & Entertainment Jon Ridgeon added: “We are delighted to welcome Cycle Republic as the official mechanical partner of the inaugural Vélo Birmingham and it is fantastic that they are providing our participants with such a huge amount of added value.”
