Cycle Republic hosts annual conference

Cycle Republic hosted its annual two-day conference in Norfolk last week, with its 20-strong shop managers and suppliers in attendance.

Lead by Peter Kimberley and senior managers from the support centre, the team discussed the various milestones achieved in the last year, including the growth of e-bikes, new ranges introduced across bikes and PAC, the recent launch of the flagship shop in Canary Wharf and the opening of the twentieth shop in Glasgow earlier this month.

According to Kimberely, the focus of the conference centred on preparing for the year ahead. Colleagues were introduced to new ranges from several bike brands including KTM, Lapierre, Marin and accessories from Fox, Oakley, Smith and Garmin, who shared its newly launched 130 GPS.

The attendees took part in a ride out in the afternoon, which the team said was a “great opportunity to test the products and sample the single track MTB trails on offer.”

The conference was completed with some rewards and recognition, shops that has excelled in customer service and broken records – most notable of all was the ‘Store Manager of The Year’ award.

Cycle Republic managing director Peter Kimberley stated: “I would like to thanks all suppliers for their support, it has been an incredible two days and a time to recognise all the hard work and incredible achievements we have delivered as a business. The team are ambitious, I have every confidence we have the plans in place to continue to grow at pace and deliver a first-class service to our customers.”
