Sir Chris Hoy, Sir Chris Boardman and Mark Beaumont to attend The London Bike Show

Cycle stars to attend London Bike Show

Cycle stars are to attend The London Bike Show, taking place at ExCel London on 11th – 14th February. Sir Chris Hoy and Sir Chris Boardman*, will be joining the show on the Saturday; with around-the-world cyclist Mark Beaumont to attend on the Friday.

Over 300 brands will be exhibiting at the show.

Sir Chris Hoy is Britain’s most decorated Olympian and one of the country’s most recognisable athletes. After a visit last year, the affable Scot returns to The London Bike Show to launch the latest from his HOY Bike range.

Boardman will also be on hand to answer questions about his time as a professional cyclist, as well as being on the Boardman Bikes stand.

Beaumont broke the Guinness World Record for cycling around the world in 2008; taking 194 days and 17 hours, smashing 82 days off the previous best. Since then, Beaumont has also taken part in many epic challenges, including cycling length of the Americas and rowing through the Arctic. Recently Beaumont was back in Record breaking form, setting the African World Record for cycling 7000 miles from Cairo to Cape Town in 41 days and 11 hours.

A ticket to The London Bike Show will also gain entry into three other events – the Triathlon Show London powered by Honda, The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the London International Dive Show (Saturday & Sunday only).

* Is he not a Sir yet? Come on, Brenda, hurry up!
