Cycle Surgery is bringing its free-to-attend women-only events back this year, with four dates lined up for the summer.
As well as free goody bags and cupcakes, the evenings have been tailored to cycle sectors this year following customer feedback – this time the evenings have been themed from MTB, commute and road and charity events. At the MTB event, for example, Cycle Surgery will cover different clothing options to that on the commuter event. There will also be more opportunities for Q&A with the retailer’s team.
Supported by Specialized, the events are designed for cyclists and non-cyclists alike, whether the customer is getting started in cycling, preparing for an event or looking for tips to make cycling more enjoyable. At each event advice will be offered on basic bike maintenance, what to wear, essential riding tips and more.
The goody bags are new to 2012 and have been designed to be useful and high quality, Cycle Surgery told BikeBiz. It includes items from the likes of Specialized, Pro gold lube, Nuun, Maxifuel and others.

Wednesday, 1st August at Cycle Surgery Spitalfields Special Focus: Mountain biking essentials.
Thursday, 16th August at Cycle Surgery Victoria Special Focus: Commuting and beyond.
Tuesday, 21st August at Cycle Surgery Holborn Special Focus: Riding in the city.
Tuesday, 4th September at Specialized Concept Store Covent Garden Special Focus: Road riding and charity events.
