Cycle Systems podcast launches with Team Sky and Gary Fisher

Cycle Systems Academy, well known for their cycle maintenance training courses and online tutorials, has celebrated the launch of its new podcast – produced by Velocast – with two high profile and fascinating
guest features.

Since launching in January, the Academy’s podcast has released two shows now available for download. The first featured a visit to the Team Sky training camp in Mallorca and the most recent release interviews the industry icon that is Mr Gary Fisher.

Fisher is a man that needs very little introduction to anyone who knows cycling. From a young bike racer who once got banned for ‘wearing his hair too long’ to one of the industry’s most revered innovators, engineers and characters, Gary Fisher continues to amaze everyone he meets with his knowledge and passion for all things bike.

Speaking about the interview, Cycle Systems Academy’s Sean Lally commented that this enthusiasm was contagious.

“His unrivalled knowledge and his warm humour kept us entertained from the moment we met him” he says.

“The breadth of the interview simply amazed us though. There’s very little, if anything, this guy doesn’t know when it comes to bikes and his technical insight will be hugely entertaining and educational for all our listeners’’

With a number of high profile guests and backstage access to some of the industry’s best technical experts and events planned for the coming months, the Cycle Systems Academy weekly podcast is likely to become a
‘must listen’ podcast for anyone who loves bikes and cycling. Whether you are a pro wrench or a complete novice, this technical resource is delivered in an entertaining and informal way
