Cavell has successfully completed the Advanced portion of the Serotta School for Cycling Ergonomics.
Established in 1998 by Serotta Competition Bicycles, the school is hot on the latest trends in biomechanics and bike ftting theories.
Describing Serotta’s course, programme administrator Paul Levine said:
“We are constantly striving to drive research forward in the world of bike fitting. My instructors and students continue to challenge the standards of the bike fitting industry and look with open minds in contesting ‘old school’ theories in addition to exploring new methodologies to push the limits of dialing in the ultimate fit for the individual athlete.”
The programme, which is open to bicycle dealers, cycling coaches, and health care professionals, covers topic such as cycling biomechanics, muscle firing sequences, fundamentals of aerodynamics, and bicycle design parameters and their effects on bicycle fit.
