Cyclevox has added Map My Tracks, the outdoor social network company, to its roster of clients.
Map My Tracks has launched a new iPhone app OutFront – a unique multi–sport GPS app, which offers F1-style real-time performance telemetry for cyclists, runners and other outdoor sports. OutFront lets users track their activities, review their performance and share the results live with friends, coaches or family around the world.
OutFront also goes beyond simple data logging by providing real-time performance analysis to users during their activity with the option to broadcast online for others to follow as the action unfolds.
The team at Cyclevox will be responsible for the day-to-day PR of the OutFront app into the cycling press and media, and also be working closely with Nick Tatt and his team at Map My Tracks’ parent company Tinderhouse on some exciting new ventures regarding the OutFront app and pro cycle racing.
Speaking about the new partnership Tatt stated: “I am very excited to be working with the guys at Cyclevox. Map My Tracks operates in all outdoor spheres, and cycling is fast-becoming a core part of our software and website interaction. The new OutFront app is also a very exciting venture for our business and to have a company such as Cyclevox on our side, in terms of PR and awareness campaigning, gives us added confidence.”

OutFront costs £1.79 and can be downloaded from iPhone App store.
