Mag follows up PPA nominations with win at awards bash

Cyclist magazine picks up British Media Award

Dennis Publishing’s Cyclist magazine picked up the Best Print Product 2014′ at the British Media Awards last week.

The prize follows three PPA nominations for the relatively young mag.

Publisher Nicola Bates picked up the award with editor Pete Muir (the latter sporting a shiner after having a bike accident), from journalist and presenter Jeremy Vine.

Bates told BikeBiz: "We are over the moon with picking up the award. It’s a great accolade and recognition from the media industry and we hope that will be replicated at the PPAs.

"It’s great for the cycling industry to hear that a cycling magazine has been titled the best in the UK for 2014!"
