Cyclorama website invites specialist retailers to list stores

Cycling advocacy website Cyclorama has added a retailer mapping function to its website and is now calling on stores worldwide to get in touch with their details.

Marketing manager George Goodwin told BikeBiz: "In the most recently added section to our website, selected independent retailers are featured, and are linked within the site to products they stock.

"The emphasis is again on quality – eventually the team hope to feature the top ten percent or so of bike shops around the world. Cyclorama’s appeal to UK retailers has already been met with an enthusiastic response."

Visitors to www.cyclorama.net can also browse the enormous and continually growing Bike Culture section, a collection of more than 300 articles on various aspects of cycling. It covers subjects as diverse as women’s cycling, technical advice, and cycling history, and is intended to be of interest to all kinds of cyclists at every level.

There’s also a blog which is updated daily with practical advice, show reports, editorial on products and shops featured and thoughts on everyday cycling. Both Bike Culture and the Cyclorama blog are open to reader submissions.

Cyclorama is the latest project of Company of Cyclists, the renowned cycle promotion enterprise, which has been championing cycling to schools and local authorities for over a decade.
