Cytech training information can now be found on it’s own dedicated site at Cytech.uk.com.
The online portal is ‘long overdue’ according to Cytech, a training and accreditation scheme for bicycle mechanics and outdoor retail staff.
The newly launched site is for anyone from the trade or public interested in finding out more about the industry qualification or wishing to go on a course. The site now also incorporates the Cytech Retail Directory, a listing of all specialist retailers and suppliers with Cytech qualified staff.
All shops with Cytech qualified staff are being encouraged to check their business is listed on the directory and ensure all their Cytech qualified colleagues are listed with all the right qualifications. Businesses also have access to a My Cytech area, which is accessed by logging in to My ActSmart, where they can view the individual qualifications of their employees, and compare their Cytech ranking to other shops in your local area.
Visitors to Cytech.uk.com are encouraged to find their local Cytech qualified shop using the Cycling Experts shop search. The site joins those of British Cycling, Why Cycle, Bike Hub, Sustrans, Bike Week and Bikesoup in linking to the Cycling Experts shop search, reaching up to 600,000 potential customers each month.
Shops are also encouraged to ensure their listing is comprehensive and add the Cytech logo to your website, marketing literature, advertising or company vehicle. To display the Cytech logo workshops must have at least one member of staff with a Cytech Technical Two qualification or higher.
