Fully warehouse-integrated offering now ready for dealers

Dawes open for brand’s new B2B

www.dawesb2b.co.uk is now live and taking orders, following going live earlier this month and a number of final updates and testing.

As well as standard B2B features, the new Dawes offering gives trade customers the chance to build and save their own ‘live’ Order Forms. These allow the customer to select the Dawes product they regularly order, or the complete range if prefered, then save it in an easy-to-view list of product.

From this list dealers can check up to date stock levels and add product to the shopping basket. This additional feature runs alongside the more traditional format of a catalogue of products, so users can still browse through the range in the same format as the consumer website.

Dawes said: "It took quite a lot of work integrating the B2B into our existing warehousing systems, but the end result has been well worth it. Orders are received, processed and sent for picking automatically, freeing up our in-house staff’s time to talk to our customers and ensure all our dealers are receiving the service we pride ourselves in. Not to mention the practicality for dealers of being able to view live stock levels, product specs and images without having to pick up the phone.

"Since going live we’ve had nearly 200 of our accounts sign up and start using the online service. We appreciate B2B websites are nothing new, but it’s certainly helped us offer our customers a much better, 24/7 service and, we hope our customers find this useful."
