Chicago-based Po Campo’s cycling luggage has been taken on by Dawes Cycles.
Distributing the five year old brand to the UK trade, Dawes said Po Campo aims to bridge the function and fashion gap with a range that looks fashionable off the bike.
Forward orders are now being taken and existing Po Campo customers have been contacted by Dawes to ensure supply remains unaffected. Any others that have shown interest in recent months are also encouraged to get in touch.
“Po Campo is a great company to deal with and their product is fantastic," said Gary Conway. "Maria Boustead, the founder of the company designs and develops the bags herself, it’s clear to see how much attention to detail has gone into each and every bag. I feel this brand is a perfect example of an individual discovering a problem and, finding a solution for it – not just simply developing something for developments sake. I’m positive, following initial response from the trade that Po Campo will be a great success and cyclists this side of the pond want fashion and function to work hand in hand, just as it does in the US.”
