Decade Europe, distributor of Royal Racing, Urge Helmets, No Fear, Brake Authority and EVS protection has recruited Craig Groves to manage southern area sales.
Starting with Decade last month, Groves handles key accounts in the south of England. Prior to his appointment Groves managed the successful Trail Junkies independent bike dealer near Reading, and boasts over ten years in the bike industry.
Commenting on the appointment, Matt Yeo, general manager at Decade, said: “We have had a phenomenally positive reaction to the launch of our 2011 ranges. It seems that the mountain bike market is ready for some up-to-date thinking and our products have some very interesting and fresh ideas in sectors such as protection and apparel that seem to have struggled for inspiration over the last few years.
“We’re lucky to have Craig on board and we think he is up to the job of challenging customers’ perceptions when it comes to the brands that we manage and the sectors we cover. He will be making contact with key independent bike dealers in the coming weeks to demonstrate the new lines and talk through the comprehensive advertising and marketing campaign we have set into action. Craig is the first of a team and we are still in the process of staffing up so watch this space.”
