Tyrone Dines and Giulia De Simone have been travelling Europe in the Rockshox race support truck since November 2001 but "all good things must come to an end," said Dines, who is now looking for suspension-related employment in the UK.

Dines and De Simone hand back race truck keys to SRAM

Dines and De Simone were the second couple to travel the European MTB race circuit in the Rockshox truck. The first was Tim and Helen Flooks.

"We have both enjoyed our time on the truck, meeting the riders and the people who make up the great events in the world, but all good things must come to an end," said Dines.

"SRAM have decided to restructure the operation and after two years of travelling the world Giulia had decided to finish anyway. I couldn’t reach a solution with SRAM on how to continue for this year and it was decided that they wouldn’t renew my contract."

Dines is now looking for another bike trade job:

"I am looking for a role that will allow me to use the skills that I have gained over the last few years working with Rockshox products."
