It’s not just those pesky bike journalists that get ‘working’ trips abroad – turns out that bike retailers are at it too.
Italian brand Miche, which recently launched a new wheel test programme for its SWR full carbon clincher wheel set, was visited by some of the dealers who had purchased the wheel test programme. After visiting the Miche factory in Treviso with Chicken staff, a day of relaxing in Venice followed.
A Chicken Cyclekit spokesperson said: “The dealers saw how the full range is still a true ‘made in Italy’ brand. The factory visit gave everyone a chance to see how every product they stock from the Miche range is manufactured, particularly the SWR full carbons that are completely hand built, along with all other top end Miche wheels and components.
"We are still actively looking for Wheel Test Programme dealers and have more trips planned for later this year."
