Chicken CycleKit announces Cinelli Flagship Project

New for 2017, Chicken CycleKit has launched a new initiative for IBDs called the Cinelli Flagship Project.

The goal is to create a unique space within retailers and focus on the full range of Cinelli bikes, from the entry-level experiences right up to the top end custom Laser Mia and XCR frames.

One of the key benefits of becoming a flagship store is receiving the higher end Cinelli frames to display in store with no dealer cost involved.

Playing on the artisan feel of the Cinelli brand, the idea is to have a gallery-type environment where Cinelli aficionados and potential customers have a place to view the full range including the high-end custom models, components, clothing and accessories – whereas in the past they might only have been able to see one of these at a bike show.

Additionally, dealers will receive bespoke POS to suit their retail space, marketing support from Chicken CycleKit and Cinelli, plus a visit to the Cinelli factory in Milan.

The distributor has already signed up four retailers: Hub Velo in London, Rockets & Rascals in Plymouth, Cycle Space in Manchester and Lovelo in Hertfordshire. It is now looking for dealers in Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham.

The Cinelli Flagship Project is designed to run alongside the wider Cinelli dealer network to ensure full exposure of the brand at an IBD level and to help spread the Cinelli message.
