€10 million invested in centre, almost doubling capacity at Waldershof, Germany

Cube Bikes opens 2nd logistics centre

19-year old brand Cube has opened a second bicycle logistics centre in Waldershof, Germany, where Cube was founded.

Cube’s existing 8,000 sqm bicycle logistics centre is now backed by the new 7,200 sqm centre, set close by. That new centre includes warehouse space for 6,500 pallet spaces. Cube said that following the expansion, over 700 sea containers per year are expected.

A total of around €10 million was invested into the Waldershof logistics centre.

Cube founder Marcus Pürner took part in the logistic centre’s inauguration ceremony. He said: “When the company was founded 19 years ago, we had not considered to become one of the leading bike brands in Europe. And two years ago we did not know that we are inaugurating today a new hall."

Cube was established in 1993 in Waldershof, Bavaria, Germany by Pürner. At the company HQ 300 employees work in product development, manufacturing and sales. Cube’s current portfolio consists of 170 different MTBs, road bikes, cross, triathlon, e-bikes and trekking bikes. The firm also produces women’s and children’s bikes and an extensive collection of clothing and accessories.
