HKT Products has parted ways with P&A brand Joystick.
A statement released by HKT read: “After four years working together, we have had to make the difficult decision to part ways. As one of our first brands, the nostalgia does pull slightly at the heartstrings, but knowing that this is the right choice for all parties makes these things a little easier.
The tough currency conditions brought up by Brexit and our increased success with the custom branded segment of our portfolio has really highlighted the potential of UK manufacture. Parting company with Joystick will allow us to focus a lot harder on this, with more and more products scheduled to be moved back to the UK over the coming months and years, so keep your eyes peeled for more on this!
We will also be re-doubling our efforts with our other brands, which continue to show year-on-year growth. From all of us at HKT we wish the Joystick Team all the best in their future endeavours!”
The partnership will end with immediate effect, although Joystick products still currently feature on the HKT website.
