The Hood Bikes line is to come to the UK, under the guidance of Mike Fisher, who will handle sales and marketing for the Barcelona-designed urban brand.
Fisher told BikeBiz: "The creators of Hood Bikes are four urban fashion design and bicycle enthusiasts ready to add color and design to our cities. We do not understand bikes to get from one place to another fast, we offer a tool to enjoy the journey. If you
live in a hurry, if you want to measure time, we are not your brand.
"I am responsible for the .com and the .co.uk account for hood bikes and we are targeting wholesalers and retailers in the UK. We are also looking for local companies to supply us with online facilities to sell their accessories through their websites.
On the design of the bikes Fisher added: "The best about being loyal to our philosophy is that we do not allow any kind of pressure about deadlines or time lines that make us move on wrong steps. At Hood Bikes, the first and the last bike are build in the proper way, offering quality, good price and making every client happy."
