New Sheffield distributor enters the cycle market

Hookit lands Sensus and Joystick

Hookit Products is a new distribution company entering the UK cycle market.

The Sheffield-based firm has a B2B site in its testing phase, with a select few products from the brands being chosen to put the site through its paces.

Hookit is Sensus’ official distribution partner in the UK. Run by influential free rider Cam Zink, these grips have been designed and tested by Zink and his team and has signature models available to order. ODI’s patented lock on system is being used by Sensus and a host of new products – including a new clothing range and an SDG/Sensus Collab seat range – will be brought to the UK market via Hookit Products.

(Note: Ison is still the sole UK distributor for ODI Grips and as such still distributes Sensus Grips in the UK.)

Hookit has also landed sole distribution of Joystick components, including new carbon Analog bars competitively priced at £129.99. As well as bars, Joystick produces lightweight seats and stems. The Digger series is dedicated to giving back to the trail scene with a trail advocacy programme.

Aside from Sensus and Joystick, Hookit is bringing 35Bike to market, which is starting with a range of pads and rotors with more to come that promise to "give dealers the opportunity to be able to meet the prices of direct to consumer parts".

Bike cleaning brand Dirty Devil also joins the roster, as does casual clothing brand The Riot Club.

Hookit Products said: "We have nearly a decade of experience in bringing new products to market and representing strong brands.

"We like to think that we do things a little bit differently here at Hookit, just like Joystick we like to give back. This is why we are also proud to announce that we sponsored Peaty’s Steel City DH race, providing a whole host of podium goodies for the fastest person on the day. Alongside this we have donated a load of signed merchandise that Cam Zink has been kind enough to send over for us, this will all be available to one lucky winner by entering the charity raffle.

"Last but not least we are also proud to announce that we will be supporting James "Swinny" Swinden, star of the Cotic series of bike edits, and Rocket Man himself, on his quest for world cup glory in this years season.

"We are taking account applications now, so get in touch info@hookitproducts.co.uk or give Davi a call on 07747467131. Stock of Joystick is on its way, anybody placing a pre-order for this will receive the best rate regardless of quantity!"

The B2B site is now live here.
