Knog and Moore Large have parted ways after nearly a decade.

Knog to appoint new UK distributor

Australian lights-to-locks brand Knog is to appoint a new UK distributor. The announcement will be made tomorrow. Knog has been distributed in the UK by Moore Large of Derby for nearly 10 years.

“Although we’ve been established in the UK market for 10 years now – largely thanks to Moore Large – the strategic paths of our two companies have slowly drifted apart,” said Knog CEO Hugo Davidson.

"After assessing the direction of our brand, we felt that we needed some fresh blood to realise our ambitious vision."

He added: "We part ways on good terms."

Moore Large MD Nigel Moore said:

"We at Moore Large enjoyed our relationship with Knog, and for the majority of years we were their largest global distributor – the achievement of which we are extremely proud, given the huge global popularity of the brand."

He added: "It is always a disappointment to part ways with a valued supplier especially one such as Knog who, in the early days, produced ground breaking and innovative cycle accessories."

Moore Large now has "substantial Knog stock that will be offered at best possible prices," said Moore, adding that Moore Large will "continue to honour warranties for all Knog product purchased from us."
