The Moore Large-supplied brands will be used at the Velodrome and will get trackside advertising space

National Cycling Centre signs Lake and Limar for another two years

Moore Large have been selected to supply Lake cycling shoes and Limar cycling helmets to the National Cycling Centre (NCC) for a further two years.

The NCC has agreed to provide exclusive rights to the Lake and Limar brands whose products have been provided for Velodrome track use. Lake and Limar will have significant trackside advertising space at the Velodrome and both brand logos will be assigned to in-house printed literature and graphics.

Velodrome cycling manager Bob Barber has ordered a bigger stock of the new kit to reflect the number of sessions that are sold out and back to back, putting a big demand on the hire kit.

Moore Large’s marketing manager Lauren Vanderplank said: “The helmets and shoes have been in constant use since we supplied them two years ago. We are delighted that the National Cycling Centre has chosen to continue using and recommending Lake and Limar. The performance and quality attributes of these brands products make them the perfect choice, which is why you will see so many professional athletes in our Lake shoes and Limar helmets.”

The National Cycling Centre was Britain’s first indoor Olympic cycling track and since it opened in 1994 has become one of the World’s fastest wooden tracks. The track is in use seven days a week and, thanks to the comprehensive programme of activities for all levels of ability, is touted as the busiest in the world. From elite athletes to novices, the track offers sessions to anyone seeking to experience this exciting sport.

Regular users of the track include members of Team GB, as well as local school children and track enthusiasts that train and race, and also many newcomers via the Taster sessions.
