Pearl Izumi will be on show at the iceBike* and Sportline Show, where it will exhibit its SS17 and AW17 collections, and new PI Dry Technology.
The PI Dry technology is exclusively reserved for Pearl Izumi’s use in the cycling industry for the next three years. It is a new form of permanent water resistant technology that involves coating each individual fibre so that it remains water-repellent under stretch and doesn’t saturate to maintain fabric performance. After 100 washes, the garment’s performance remains at 90 per cent, where industry standard for DWR garments is 80 per cent of performance maintained after just 20 washes.
Among some of the new products taking advantage of PI Dry are the Pursuit Thermal Bib Tight, Elite Escape Amfib Bib Tight, Pro Softshell Arm Warmer and Elite Thermal Knee Warmer.
Madison’s 11th iceBike* and Sportline Show 2017 will run over two days on Tuesday, February 21st and Wednesday, February 22nd, and will take place at Arena:MK.
