Paligap unveils initiatives to push customers into bike shops

Paligap has a number campaigns in place to help get consumers in store, already taking place or set to roll out over the forthcoming months, which it has shared with BikeBiz:

1. Power Ambassador Programme
Paligap is offering free seminars for Powertap stockists, designed to increase power awareness and knowledge for club riders and loyal customers. The distributor said: "We see this as an extremely beneficial service add-on, which should drive sales for the stockist, and increase customer retention."

2. CycleOps Promotions
There are in-store Point-of-Sale stands, and an IBD-only trade-in offer being advertised nationally online and in print.

3. Marin Demo Days
Dealers can take advantage of Paligap’s full fleet of demo-ready Marin bikes in a range of sizes and specs, Paligap is ready to support Marin Dealers in forthcoming demo events. Interested dealers should call the sales team, or talk to their area account manager to get one booked.

4. Cipollini Demo Fleet
Paligap now has a full fleet of Cipollini demo bikes at the ready for authorised Cipollini stockists. Dealers can Invite their customers along to ‘try before they buy’.

5. Alé Marketing
Paligap has produced an ALÉ brochure, being given away in the current Cycling Plus magazine, and will be inserted in Cyclist magazine early next year.
