Saddleback becomes Arundel distributor

Saddleback has taken on distribution of Arundel products in the UK and will have stock available from January.

Set for its first trade showing at Core Bike, the bottle cage specialist covers a variety of price points and styles, from basic plastic and stainless steel designs, various carbon layouts and aero designs for the professional racer.

Chris Watson of Arundel Bicycle Company said: “For 2012, we are proud to announce an exclusive agreement with Saddleback to supply Arundel bike accessories to retailers and bike riders in the British Isles. The negotiation has been a pleasure and we are confident we can meet the needs of Saddleback to do a stellar job of serving retailers. We look forward to learning the intricacies of the UK market and we also look forward to developing more accessories for the attuned cycling enthusiasts.”

Arundel has been the official sponsor of Garmin Cervelo, United Healthcare and Peanut Butter & Co since 2000.

Andy Wigmore, managing director of Saddleback said: “From our early discussions with Arundel we really liked their refreshingly relaxed approach to business and their passion to create products that not only look great but work. Their credibility in the world of professional cycling and association with some of the best teams in the world make them a great fit for us and the rest of our product line. We are delighted that they see us as the right partner for their company and we are confident we can make the Arundel brand a very desirable part of our dealers’ business. The full Arundel product range will be available from Saddleback in January and on show at Core Bike.”
