Eve Roberts and Jack Bloor jump aboard the distributor

Two fresh recruits join Moore Large

Moore Large has bolstered its team with two new joiners, Eve Roberts and Jack Bloor.

Eve Roberts joins the business as Sales and Marketing Manager, taking responsibility for the overall marketing strategy for the Bicycle Division.

Roberts has held senior sales and trade marketing roles in large food and textile companies for the last 15 years and bring a wealth of experience to the team.

Moore Large Bicycle Director Paul Stewart commented: "Eve’s appointment is pivotal in taking the Bicycle Division forward, her energy, vision, passion for bikes and marketing flair will strengthen our team and we are delighted to have Eve on board."

Roberts added: "We have some great brands and new product line-up for 2015, our business is evolving and with the recent addition of the Bobbin Cycles and Peugeot E-Bikes, we now truly offer bikes to suit everyone. I am looking forward to working with Retailers on tailored marketing activity and responding to consumers needs. As a consumer, cycle coach, club rider, racer and advocate for getting more people on bikes, I am very excited about my new challenge, and more specifically about working with our flagship Moda and Forme brands."

Jack Bloor joins the business as Events Coordinator, working alongside Eve Roberts, to increase consumer engagement through attendance at key cycling events.

The firm said: “This is a great opportunity for Moore Large to showcase its Premium Product ranges, from both the Bicycle and Accessories division. We look forward to engaging with consumers and gaining feedback for our products, offering demos with IBD partners and being on hand to advise consumers on “finding their perfect bike” from our range.

Bloor added: “I have raced bikes since I was 13-years old, my background is BMX and my first proper race bike was a Haro Bike– which I raced all over the country, I also raced in Belgium and at the British BMX Champs. After one too many crashes, I decide to hang up my race kit and ride for fun instead! I’ve also started mountain-biking and road-biking and I am lucky enough to spend most week-ends riding the trails with my dad and friends, it’s good for the soul!

"I am really looking forward to getting involved with the race scene again, getting stuck in, and chat to like-minded people about all things cycling. First stop – London Bike Show!"

Paul Stewart added: “With our extended team, we are in a great place to start 2015 with a compelling marketing and events programme, and we are excited to announce both appointments to support, not only our retail partners but also our consumers”.
