Training for five Zyro labels now live, more to follow

Zyro goes live with Myagi

Five Zyro labels have training modules live on Myagi following a launch at last week’s Cycle Vision trade exhibition.

Zyro were the first distributor in the cycle industry to adopt Myagi, with Cateye, Camelbak, Altura, Bell and Giro having thus far uploaded online training modules. More of the distributor’s brands are to follow shortly.

Myagi allows suppliers and retailers to host product and sales training videos, followed by a short quiz to measure learning outcomes. Retail staff can access the platform on demand, on any web enabled device and free of charge. Over 75 of Zyro’s customers are now signed up to the online platform.

There’s a slight competitive element and incentives for retailers signed up too, with completition of training producing badges to show completition. This in turn reflects well on the store and Myagi’s CEO Simon Turner added that this can be used as a means to reward strong stores with deals on brands for which they have completed training.

Turner commented “The feedback from dealers was unbelievably positive as Myagi solves a real problem in the industry in helping sales associates and workshop staff stay in the loop with the latest product training and info. One dealer commented “Myagi is great as it brings the trade show to the shop floor”.

Julie Ellison, Managing Director of Zyro commented; “We encourage all of our retailers to join Myagi for free by visiting www.myagi.com, signing up and selecting your company account which should already exist in the platform. We also urge other suppliers to support Myagi, as we believe an industry wide training platform is a far better solution than each supplier creating their own online platform. This would create a huge challenge for retailers and their staff who will have to manage multiple platforms and logins to access the information they need to stay in the loop with new products and sales techniques.”

Other suppliers are already indeed signing up, with Myagi confirming to BikeBiz that SealSkinz has recently come on board, with some other large distributors currently in the process of rallying their brands to provide content ahead of signing up.
