Doors open on Cycling Scotland Conference 2012

This morning the doors opened on the 2012 Cycling Scotland Conference, held in Edinburgh.

In partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the conference will, over the course of the day, see Dutch and Scottish experts discuss cycling in urban planning with politicians.

The packed agenda will discuss everything from building on the momentum of 2012 to road safety, how Scottish tourism can benefit from cycling, the integration of cycling into the health agenda and the Cycling Action plan for Scotland, among other topics.

The latest from the conference can be found on Twitter via the hashtag #scotsgodutch. Alternatively, there is further information on the briefings here.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is hosting the event in collaboration with Cycling Scotland, Royal HaskoningDHV, Cycle Nation, Sustrans and the Dutch Cycling Embassy.
