DT Swiss Asia has begun manufacture of its Champion and Competition spokes, in black and silver finish, in its Taichung factory.
Using the same machines, tools and raw materials as in Biel, Switzerland, the facility has the potential to expand as the market demands.
According to the global firm, the need to meet customer needs is the driving force behind the move. DT Swiss now supplies products in more than 50 countries, spanning Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Urs Keller, Vice-President of DT Swiss AG, said: “The production of spokes at DT Swiss Asia is an important step to make sure that orders of customers can be carried out very quickly and short delivery times can be guaranteed."
