Complete city cycling inspired line to debut at Sopwell House on the 18th - stock arrives this month

Eastway bike line to launch at Fisher’s Expo

Stock of Fisher Outdoor’s in-house designed Eastway label is to become available to dealers this month, with the launch of the full line taking place at next week’s Expo – running February 18th to 20th.

Those visiting Sopwell House in St.Albans will be able to discuss the line with designers Matthew Pryke and Stephen Britz, who took on the task of creating the range to meet the needs of the ‘everyday cyclist’.

Fisher product manager and Eastway creator, Matthew Pryke said, “Eastway was born from a desire to create something new and exciting for the urban/road bike sector; something that meant riders don’t have to ‘make do’ with what’s currently on offer and we are thrilled with the end product.”

The 13 strong range is built to suit every type of city ride, from road to single speed, from hybrid to cyclo-cross; all designed to help riders get to where they are going in the shortest possible time.
Pryke continues, “There is a growing breed of cyclist that doesn’t just ride when out in the country or on the track, but rides hard in the city whenever and wherever they can. This needs a bike that can go the distance and is fit for purpose.

The bikes will be available for the public to purchase on 27th February 2013.

“Eastway bikes are designed for the optimum balance between performance, durability and comfort. They are built to last. We have built strong, attractive and reliable bikes that are built for the city.”

The brand name stems from the old Eastway Cycle Circuit in Stratford.
