EBCO has named Pete Hancock as area account manager for London and the Southeast.
Hancock will be responsible for selling the new EBCO ‘home brand’ plus the Corratec e-bike offering in the UK, and will join UK sales manager Nigel Watson who will continue to manage the Northern region of the UK and will oversee the sales operation.
“When the position arose to work for EBCO I leapt at the opportunity,” Hancock said. “E-bikes are continually growing in the UK and the marketing is increasingly buoyant.
“With improved technology, aesthetics and performance the e-bike now offers an amazing opportunity to dealers and I wanted to be part of the e-bike market in these exciting times.”
Paul Stanforth, EBCO MD, added: “It’s great to have Pete on board, he comes with a huge amount of experience, knowledge, contacts and respect in the UK cycling industry.
“We are moving into a new phase of the business at EBCO with a completely new EBCO line up (watch this space!) and an excellent range from Corratec, so we need excellent salespeople in place to work with us! Pete worked for us back in our Saracen days so it’s good to welcome him back.
“We will also have another new starter shortly, working with dealers in the Southwest area.”
