Eurobike and Taichung Bike Week join forces

Eurobike trade show and the organizers of Taichung Bike Week have announced they will work side by side in the future.

The seventh edition of the OEM event in Taiwan’s bike metropolis from October 18 to 21, 2016, will be organized as a joint effort. Plans envision an event that will stretch across several exhibition areas and utilize a new matchmaking tool.

Eurobike Head Stefan Reisinger said: ”Taichung is considered the Silicon Valley of the international cycle industry. With Taichung Bike Week, the metropolis in central Taiwan is a high-level OEM platform for negotiations between project managers of renowned bike brands and the supplier industry.

"This format has grown steadily over the past ten years and as an important partner of the global bicycle industry, we would like to make a contribution to help generate new momentum and to ensure that these developments continue.”

For Taichung Bike Week in 2015, more than 400 exhibitors came together with 2500 buyers visiting three hotels for negotiations on the new model season. The involvement of the Eurobike now means that the 2016 event will offer top OEM manufacturers an additional presentation platform in a fourth hotel.

A new matchmaking tool will be provided that will enable exhibitors and visitors to show off what they have to offer and what they are interested in before the event even starts. Using their accounts, they will be able to make targeted appointments and will receive contact suggestions customized to fit their profile during the October event.
