Press will be able to scoop Eurobike debuts by over a month at the event

Eurobike launching ‘Media Days’ this summer

Eurobike is launching a series of exclusive Media Days, to run June 30th to July 2nd next year in Kirchberg, Tirol.

Details are scant, but it looks to us like the event will be similar to the PressCamp format. The organisers are approaching "top Eurobike customers geared toward athletics" where they can present their new model year 2016 to media representatives with the same focus.

The event has also been designed to accommodate those manufacturers who have invited journalists to press launches and events before Eurobike. The ‘Media Days’ organisers said "it is no longer feasible for trade journalists to attend them all. For the bicycle manufacturers, these events are associated with high costs and enormous amounts of staff time. We are confident that the Eurobike Media Days will be a good alternative for many of our customers."

Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann added: “We want to offer the cycling industry and media representatives another platform long before the actual exhibition date in order to present to an exclusive group of media representatives."

The team has expanded for the new event and has recruited Christina Kulling as project coordinator. Kulling comes from Specialized, where she was responsible for the organisation of European dealer events over the last four years.

Tirol Werbung CEO Josef Margreiter said: “For us, this media event is a good opportunity to present the cycling paradise of Tyrol in conjunction with new and innovative products in the industry.”
