The lowdown on Eurobike Festival Days 2016

Eurobike has released more information on the Festival Days event which is new for 2016, promising ‘test-riding, live acts and daring stunts.’

Klaus Wellmann, CEO of Messe Friedrichshafen said: “Our new concept for Eurobike will consist of two strong pillars, in addition to the B2B component, which has proved to be optimally positioned, we will also be establishing the trade show as a multi-day event for cycling enthusiasts."

"On Saturday and Sunday (September 3 & 4) the industry’s entire 2017 product range and the whole topic of cycling will be presented to bike fans at ten special areas on Messe Friedrichshafen’s vast exhibition grounds. Events will include thrilling races, lectures and shows."

Eurobike Festival Days will take place from September 3 to September 4. In halls A2 through A7 and B1 through B5, along with both open-air grounds, visitors will experience new elements never before seen at Eurobike.

Project Director Dirk Heidrich said: “The programme that will be offered to our Eurobike Festival Days visitors is worth more than just a one-day visit. It invites cycling fans to make full use of both days, and to really experience Eurobike like a festival.” In addition to new product launches from worldwide brands, Eurobike Festival Days will particularly focus on events that will take place exclusively during the two-day program for the general public.

At the Festival Days areas of the grounds, cycling action and test-riding will take centre stage. Visitors will have the chance to test roughly 3000 different bikes in the Demo Area between and behind the “B” halls, where a track network measuring about 10 km (6.2 miles) will be constructed.
